You need to know what information about you may be collected through our website ("Service") and how your information may be used. This Privacy Policy therefore also explains what information we may collect about you.

1. General remarks

The security and protection of your personal data while using our website is an important concern for Dental Softworks GmbH, and we are committed to ensuring compliance with the applicable data protection laws.

Our Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about what information and personal data is collected, how we use it, and what options are available to you in connection with the collection and use of your data. This policy applies to all customers of Dental Softworks GmbH and visitors to Dental Softworks GmbH websites. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, such as your name, address, email addresses, or user behavior.

Your data is stored, processed, and used in accordance with this policy and the applicable statutory data protection regulations.

We process and use your data in order to enable you to use the Dental Softworks GmbH website, as well as for other purposes to which you have previously consented.

Our employees and representatives who process your inquiries are bound to confidentiality.

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties outside Dental Softworks GmbH without your consent, and you may withdraw your consent at any time.

2. Browser-dependent data processing

As with all websites, when the Dental Softworks website is accessed, our web server temporarily stores the domain name or IP address of the accessing computer, as well as the date of access, file requests made by the website visitor (file name and the associated data of the complete internet address), the HTTP response code, browser type, and the size in bytes of the files transferred during the session. This information is necessary in order to transmit the files requested by you on the Dental Softworks website and for reasons of system security. Cookies (see Section 4 below for further details) are also used to collect anonymous traffic data from users of our website. This anonymous traffic data may be used for market research purposes and for demand-oriented design of our website.

2.1.      Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide further services related to website use and internet use to the website operator.

According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". As a result, IP addresses are processed in truncated form, which means that personal identification can be excluded. To the extent that the data collected about you can be related to a person, this relationship is therefore excluded immediately and the personal data is deleted without delay.

We use Google Analytics in order to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
